Kestutis
Jauniskis was born in 1961 in the capital of the Republic of Lithuania
– Vilnius- a city rich with deep traditions of fine
arts and is rich of monuments of old architecture. He graduated from
Vilnius University in 1985. During the studies of economic, the future
artist attended the Vilnius school of Fine Arts and become interested
in miniature and abstract painting arts. The fragments of his native
old town were deeply embedded in his mind from childhood and therefore,
dominate his painting. The reality mixed with fantasy leads you in
poetry world not into rational one. Soft tone transitions, light lines
and golden colours brings charm and originality to these pictures. K.
Jauniskis is a creative artist revealing new even unbelievably light
and optimistic views in every new pictures. Personal exhibition in
Finland and personal exhibitions in Lithuania certify his creativeness.
Additionally, he took part in group arts exhibitions.
